    The songs of the young Dane are composed on acoustic guitar and tape recorders and accompanied by thoughtful arrangements.

    His critically acclaimed debut album "Embody" (2018) was recorded and mixed with the band and producer legend John Wood (Pink Floyd, Nico, John Cale, Cat Stevens, Nick Drake, John Martyn, Bert Jansch, etc.) in Aberdeen.

    Hjalte worked on his debut album for almost two years, in London he wrote string arrangements with the composer Steve Turner (Michael Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, Jeff Lynne, etc.), which was later written by the incredible string quartet Who Killed Bambi (Father John Misty, Mick Harvey, etc.) were recorded.

    Released in November 2018, "Embody" received great reviews including by Metro News 4/5, Uncut 7/10 and Mojo Magazine 4/5 ", Ross was nominated for Steppeulven's" Hope Of The Year Award "by the Danish critics.
